You do know that corporations run our countries. Liberal or Conservative doesn't factor in to it. That is just something for us to squabble about while they destroy our way of life.

The reason Drugs are prohibited is because the American government is the largest Drug dealer in the world. By prohibiting Drugs, the American government effectively eliminates all competition. The BCCI scandal was stopped from being investigated in depth because that bank was a money laundering front for the CIA. After that, Panama was invaded so the banking laws could be changed to make it easier to launder latin american cocaine profits.

Everywhere the CIA sets up "anti-drug" operations, the amount of drugs goes up exponentially.

The CIA is in Afghanistan handing Afghan opium farmers seeds to plant. Afghanistan is now the world's largest Heroin exporter. Several nations have already caught the CIA exporting drugs using diplomatic bags.
 
Student's killer gets death sentence

FARGO, North Dakota (AP) -- A rapist who killed college student Dru Sjodin six months after being released from prison was formally sentenced to death Thursday in a case that led to tougher sex-offender laws.

U.S District Judge Ralph Erickson also rejected a motion for a new trial for Alfonso Rodriguez Jr., 53, who was convicted last fall of kidnapping resulting in death.

Sjodin, 22, a University of North Dakota student from Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, disappeared from a Grand Forks shopping mall parking lot in 2003. Her body was found nearly five months later in a Minnesota ravine. Authorities said she had been beaten, raped and stabbed.

Before Sjodin's slaying, Rodriguez had served more than 20 years for offenses that included rape and attempted kidnapping. He got out of prison about six months before the killing.

North Dakota and Minnesota have since toughened their laws against sex offenders, including life without parole for the most serious offenses and stricter supervision of offenders after they leave prison.

The case also revived debate about whether North Dakota should restore the death penalty. North Dakota's last execution was in 1905. The last person sentenced to death was spared in 1915.

Rodriguez was charged under federal law because Sjodin was taken across state lines.

Rodriguez showed no emotion during the sentencing hearing. He had been offered a chance to speak but declined. His attorney, Richard Ney, gave notice that he plans to appeal.

"The sentence does not reflect the heart of the community," Ney said. "It reflects the fear of the community."

You are very good at pointing out the insanity of it all. I would invite you to expand the scope of your renunciations to include this entire world so that it can be seen as it must be...unreal.

Power is indigenousness to the people. Governments spring up in a vacuum in response to the vacation of power amongst the people. Theirs is surrogate power. Discover how power is vacated in the first place, so that it can be seized back. Power can be taken back corporately or individually. That is, an individuals power is not dependant on a group, as long as he is willing to share.

It's entirely possible one can be completely invulnerable to any kind of attack when it is realized that any kind of attack or defense in inimical to one's true safety. To the extent that the people believe they need to defend themselves, there must be a "Department of Defense", which will justify attack in the name of self defense...only to make more defense "needed"...justifying its existence.

Surrogate power is weaker than indigenous power, therefore can only exist in fear that it's days are numbered unless its existence remains justified. All defense is a sign of weakness, not strength.

Attack is a defense against the truth. If you have the truth, it only takes one truth-teller to change the world.

The real problem with the attempt to rehabilitate these criminals is that they spend all day inside consorting with other violent criminals. I think you could actually shorten their sentences, if they had to do their entire sentence basically in solitary confinement. Put a television in their cell that only shows educational material like the history channel and national geographic. I'd even let them view sporting events. They don't need to watch prison break or mindless talkshows.

It seems that many criminals don't mind going back into prison because they are basically hanging out with fellow gang members and fighting just as much while they are on the inside. If they had to spend 3 years with no real contact besides that of the guard delivering their meals, and visitation from family, they would never want to go back in.

Of course, the lawyers don't want this, and will hide behind the argument that this is somehow cruel and unusual punishment. It would be bad for their business if people decided they do not want to return to prison. A lot of money could be lost for them if they don't have the business coming in.

That's an excellent idea. I wouldn't mind tax dollars for on line college or hooked on phonics on thier web tv in solitary confinement. It would still be their choice, to turn on the tv or not. Cheaper than books.
