I am not saying dip buying has not worked, i'm questioning makloda and his assertion that he buys dips. Then he says he mostly trades eod. My question is does makloda buy all the dips or not? But thanks for getting involved to clarify my intentions!
I'm not upset at all dude. Maybe now we can have a few less dip buying threads by chance? You seem to think everyone gets all worked up when they question you or the other cheerleaders. trust me bud, you guys are nothing to get worked up about. You're like gnats to me
Not hugely short Leon, but I am always short something. I've stated before that if we do not get to 1552ish in the near term say 7-10 days, then I will have a much bigger commitment to the short side. I am not short the indexes at the moment, but the dow will be the 1st one I do. Just so stocktrad3r can tell me how much i'm going to lose!
I guess the real question is 'what is a dip?'. If the DOW is down by 20 points someone starts a thread advising we 'buy the dip!!!'
What about when we are down over 100 points?
What about that other thread where the guys 'system' was to buy every down tick. How is he fairing today. Nobody minds that you think the market is going to the moon. Just need to actually start making calls. e.g. "Long here at dow 13500"
