Another Day, Another Distortive Attack On Climate Change

UPDATE: There’s a response from the Met Office here

A report in the UK Daily Mail reveals a Met Office report quietly released… and here is the chart to prove it:

By David Rose

The figures reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012 there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures
This means that the ‘pause’ in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996
Warming "stopped" in the 40s, too.

exactly because is the sun tides and water vapor have the vast majority of the effect on warming.

and that is why the MET office can not show statistically discernable warming outside natural variation since the industrial revolution.

I suspect the OP is just a few months away from "going postal".
He does own a lever action 30-30. The ONLY firearm he thinks should be allowed to be owned. We should probably alert DHS.

I've been trying to help him along. He gets right to the edge but then pulls back.

But you're right. One of these days soon he is going to take the plunge and we'll be able to say, 'hey, we knew that mad man.' :D

I see what you mean:

"Figure 1: The three most complete global temperature records available – from the UK Hadley Centre, NASA, and the US National Climate Data Centre – all show a clear upward trend in global average temperatures over the last 150 years (calculated using an 11 year running average). Figure from the CSIRO website."

FYI: Nobody's denying the climate changes.
We just refuse to accept the idiocy of people like yourself that think the climate shouldn't change.
