What I like about the New Testament is the opportunities for redemption. With the Old Testament, you fuck around, you are in trouble. Period. In the New Testament, you get a chance to redeem yourself.

I think that might be in part why there are more transgressions of religious precepts by Christian clerics than by Jewish clerics. Jews - especially traditional and orthodox - really feel that the eyes of God are looking down upon them, and that God can be wrathful with the sinners and the perfidious.

You mean like in IQ?

Highly religious followers of the group are always going to be smaller than the group itself and I highly doubt a positive correlation
exists between highly religious and " familial dereliction and high rate of crime*."

Try to correlate religiosity and high crime/poverty rates, that should be quite entertaining.
