Meanwhile SOXL is up 70% in Aug. No doubt the insane expansion of debt will doom the mkt when the bubble pops.

Thats quite a comeback. I will say it will once again catapult and drop another 50%, anything above 55 to 60 start shorting. Above 70 75 add another set of shorts and then keep adding. It will not be able so sustain such an altitude of gain as a simple 5 to 10% sell off in the nasdaq will send soxl spiraling down. ....last drop went from 68 to 28 in a matter of only weeks. It will happen again. So I hope it rallies another 70%!!!! I'll be gladly shorting away

Why short SOXL when you can go long SOXS? It seems safer than shorting SOXL plus it becomes cheaper if SMH keeps rising. If you short SOXL and NVDA has another monster earnings report you will be killed. It seems much safer to go long SOXS or better yet just buy puts on SMH or SOXX.

I bought Sept 2024 $250 calls on SMH on Aug 6 since that huge green candlestick pretty much meant the bottom was in. I think its still up like 800-900%.
