Background: I use Schwab, for better and worse, for both equities and futures, and because it is one account, the cash flows back and forth between them nightly, when needed. I know I should separate the two. I also take withdrawals, to complicate things further.
Now, to calculate combined and seperate monthly and YTD ROI, to me, seems like it's beyond my math capabilities or maybe it will just take too much time. Schwab doesn't help because it sends out two different statements for futures and equities. And its futures accounting doesn't even put in ROI.
I yearn for something akin to Interactive Brokers' portfolio analyst. But lacking that, I'm wondering if there is a bookkeeper, software service, or something short of an expensive full-on audit by my non-trading specialist tax CPA (I'm not using this as part of registration paperwork or raising money, just my own edification) can straighten this out for me.
