The world is changing. People are waking up to the fact our monetary, political and corporate institutions have effectively merged and are now being used to consolidate wealth and power to the few at the expense of the many. The Federal Reserve, Council on Foreign Relations, Bilderberg, Fortune 100, the UN - it's all an 'old boys' club designed to enlarge the sphere of influence for the ruling class. It's a tragedy, but the Boomers largely acquiesced to this creeping takeover as they likened themselves as part of the establishment, not aware the entire plan is to return the middle class to serfdom. The younger generation, equipped with the internet, aren't so easily conned and are forming an intellectual resistance against the Elite. Independent hackers, some of our brightest minds, have naturally joined the fight and here we are. If I could fault any particular thing, it would be the extreme naivete of people around the world. Most of the older generation conflate love of Country with love of Government, when most of the founders agreed the highest form of patriotism was principled dissent. Unless we get a revolution in the next 5 years or so, America will go bankrupt (along with many large European Sovereigns), and then all hell will break loose. 911 ushered in staggering levels of police state legislation and bureaucracy. The coming 'economic 911' will do the same, except on a much grander scale.
