Tesla's cars start via a wireless network?? That is a very scary thought...
With their wireless network of updating, hackers could conceivably inject some code into the cars that fry the bits that allow the cars to start. Remember, cars these days are not started through actual wiring and the turn of a key in a cylinder...It's through fly-by-wire. Push a button. That is wholly electronic.
I have a Ford Fusion, and I can start and stop my car through the app, or with the wireless remote. There is no "key" per se. And it's a 4-YO car! Tesla was already prolly way ahead of that game 4 years ago. Imagine where they are now.
That goes completely against the message Anon was trying to convey. They are for the little man and I don't think they will disengage the little man Tesla 3 owners.
Unless I missed something, the message from Anon has no direct message of intent of harm, just laying out facts to maybe educate the public and to change some views of Elon.
In my view, that was a direct attack on Elon. And they cannot hurt Elon unless they hurt his users.
They better not harm the public. They have been allowed to exist until now because they haven't done anything harmful to people as far as I know. Once they crossed that line, they will be eliminated just like all other outlaw groups throughout history.
Slight difference between him going home to his daddy's diamond mines (he could have done it anytime) and you being flat broke.
