No he couldn't. Sure, he could have ran a better campaign but that wouldn't have made a difference.
He never had a chance, let's face it. The race was never even close, don't listen to the party hacks. The closest he came was being down -30 electors in the EC. That was it. That is -5%, so if you call that close, than that was it.
Hell, even Karl Rove back in April said that Romney had no chance, and why would he lie about such a thing???
the ironic thing is that romney was the sanest of the republicans running. its what republicans stand for not who is running that is the problem.
lets not forget that michelle bachmann was the frontrunner for a while. that an idiot like her can get to be a frontrunner says something about republican mentality.
