Ann Coulter On Why We Must Not Vote For Libertarian Candidates In Senate Races

The short version is that control of the Senate will allow us to block nutcase obama judicial appointments, and perhaps even rein in other outrages.

The problem is that control of the Senate rests with several close races where Libertarian candidates threaten to tip the elections to liberal democrats. This is always a tough dilemma. Vote for your principles or vote for the best realistically obtainable option? For me, it's pretty easy this election. Obama has already given us a taste of the damage he's prepared to inflict on the country. Is it really worth it to give him free rein, just so you can feel good about voting for some fringe candidate who has no chance of getting elected? By all means, push for your libertarian beliefs and support candidates, just not for tight Senate races with control of the Senate hanging in the balance. Ann puts it more bluntly:

I'm voting straight libertarian in Nov. They make it very easy now. You just have to check it on the top of the ballot and you are out of there.

Whatever one's political preference, it's MOST important to "stop the DemoCrap juggernaut" if we can. That means, voting the Republican ticket even if you... like me... are a Libertarian/Constitutionalist. (Difficult to measure what a Republican win would be worth in the mid-terms... but a DemoCrap win would hasten our demise even faster.)

I voted for Ross Perot... then for Ron Paul. (Yeah, what did THAT get me?)

It would be a HUGE mistake for conservatives to "vote their conscience/preference".. thereby splitting the "anti-Left" vote... thus allowing the DemoCraps to continue to rain their destruction upon us.
