And the "value" in this statement?
Trust me, there's notQuote from mrbill:
The value, if any,
We're as or maybe even more divided now than in 1860. In no small part, thanks to Obama.would be an attempt to get past simple retorts based on ideology or simple hatred of the other person. I am still hoping that we, you and I, and we as a Nation, can work together for a better tomorrow.

Tsing might feel insulted by your comment.Quote from Grandluxe:
Screw them. They voted for Obama, didn't they? What this tells me is they feel over-represented in the Ivy leagues and want to share the wealth.
I propose Obama enacts racial quota legislation for Asians immediately for say, the top 20 colleges and universities. All top 20 colleges can only have an Asian student population commensurate with their national percentage, i.e. 3%. No more 20-30% Asians at Harvard, Stanford, Yale , Princeton,Caltech,MIT,etc...Give them what they want.
Winners of what? More "free" stuff from the government, or the bill to pay for it all some day?Quote from mrbill:
...the younger people, who go along with Obama, will be the winners.
Not really. Most of the comments coming from them are merely considered 'divisive" because their either true and or not politically correct.I do think that the GoP has to take a good part of the blame for any divisiness? Do you not agree?
Quote from mrbill:
That may be so, but with the demographics changing, it seems that the younger people, who go along with Obama, will be the winners. Not that they, younger people, don't always win, since they out-live us older people.
