Senate GOP gets beat up so bad over voting against veterans benefits that they'll vote for it this week and pretend nothing happened. That's some fine back-pedaling. Well seeing how incredibly angry their veteran voting base in North Carolina was about this issue over the past few days --- the quiet back-pedaling is hardly surprising.
