Trade 09/15

Nice trade early this morning in the Euro FX. After the reports came out at 7:30 AM the market moved up and gave me a Ross Hook for a short trade, close to the lows of 09/08 and 09/11. It was almost "sure" they will try to go for the lows. Markets "love" to go for the highs and lows.

I did try to get into a short possition. I thought they would move the market down a bit in front of the FOMC announcement. Well, I got out after some time with a small profit.

I did try to get into a possition, took profit after 8 ticks but got stopped out with my second lot at break even. I had to leave, no more trade.

Normally it's not the time I like to trade, but I thougt the market will start to move.

The idea of the long trade was actually good, but I got stopped out with 1 tick loss after moving my stop to break even.

Hi Guys,

don't ask me why I did try ES instad of ER today. I am not able to give you any (inteligent) answer. :-)

Short on the RH, filled at my first target. Stop is now at break even. Without a miracle I will probably get stopped out today.

I found only time for a skalp trade this morning. Long EC at 12804 on a Ross Hook, moving stop to break even afer 6 ticks (target/stop 8 ticks). Stopped out at break even.

EC was moving very slowly today. I did try to get into a intraday possition. Stop was 10 ticks and my target was around 12810.

The market didn't go anywhere and I got out with a small profit.

I wasn't lucky with my trade today. The idea was to take the RH and catch enough momentum to get some ticks on the first lot.

Well, the trade didn't make it till my first target and I got stopped out with 10 ticks loss.

Ultimately it seems to be best not to touch the EC before 8:30 AM CST.

I did go long in ER and it even did made it up to my target. But I just didn't bet flled at my 10 ticks, so I took some profits on the way down.
