This is not true.The Army as well as the State Dept accepts Hawaii's COLB .That is also the only birth certificate Hawaii issues.

What is the birth certificate the HOSPITAL issues??? :eek:

Two recent college grads I know both had to bring their vault copies of birth certificate (and SSN card and DL) for final enlistment procedure at the San Antonio MEPS station. I am sure there may be instances these days where a person could be requiried to only show a certified copy for enlistment (if they said they lost their original).

When I joined the US Army I know for a fact I had my original full information birth certificate (doctor and hospital named) as I was completing in processing at the Mpls MEPS station.

As I said before.....it would take obama one day to clear all of this up.......and that speaks for itself! :eek:

When you ask the Hawaii Health Dept for a BC they give you the one Obama has released,THAT IS THE ONLY ONE THEY GIVE.THEY DON'T OFFER ANY OTHER BC'S.The one they issue is accepted for military enlistments,passports,drivers licences etc

I don't trust many of them either,but thats who the Constitution says certifies presidential elections.

Personally if there were any issues with his eligbilty I would have put my money on The Clinton machine to have found it

Answer: No, you can't obtain a "certificate of live birth" anymore.

The state Department of Health no longer issues copies of paper birth certificates as was done in the past, said spokeswoman Janice Okubo.

The department only issues "certifications" of live births, and that is the "official birth certificate" issued by the state of Hawaii, she said.

And, it's only available in electronic form.
