And just like that, the media went silent about the shooting at the STEM school in Colorado

Personally I keep a bat or replica samurai sword next to my bed. If my alarm goes off or I hear a break in noise downstairs, that person is leaving my house with a souvenir in his ass I hope haha.

Also, in addition to a gun the real security is a home alarm system like ADT or Frontpoint. If someone does get in there will be a loud sound and alert which will disorient any home invader and either make them flee or give you the few minutes needed to lock and load and double the amount of assholes he carries....

Best security out there is a dog.

Anti-Trump nut job liberal transgender and his gay friend decided to shoot up a school and kill people. Media had to go silent because it doesn't fit their narrative. Liberal media was pretty excited at first when they thought it was two white males that shot up the school, but quickly stopped reporting on it when they found out that the criminals were LGBT that hated Trump and Christians.

You mean we havent heard from these turds?

Why must I keep them at a range in order to assure they are secure? Why can't I buy a nice gun safe and keep them secure by not giving the combination to my child?

You have about ten seconds to respond to the average home invasion. Typically there are multiple intruders. You might as well leave your guns in the truck of your car for all the good they will do you if they are secured in a gun safe.

Yes, there are special biometric pistol safes that are supposed to open instantaneously when you put your hand on them. The couple of seconds that takes, plus the possibility that you mess it up at 3 AM when the adrenalin is surging, could be critical.

I will also wager there have been many more cases of young people retrieving a weapon and repelling trouble when their parents are either under coercion or simply not there than there have been cases of kids taking unsecured weapons and shooting up their school.

I certainly understand keeping target or hunting weapons locked up. Home defense weapons are useless if not immediately available however.

I think you seriously overestimate the number of people who actually have fantasies of blasting home invaders. The vast majority of folks are like me - we hope we never have to use our firearms. I'd be content if all I ever shot was at the target range.

I think any rational person would agree with this. One of the worst things that can happen to you is to have to use a weapon in a self defense situation. Anyone who fantasizes about it or romanticizes it is a fool.

Yes, the parents should be liable because they chose to own a gun but were absolutely negligent in keeping it secure. This is a deadly weapon and a responsible gun owner, as people claim they are, does not let unlicensed or minors have access to it or let it get taken right from under them.

So if the kids get drunk one night when the parents are out and take the family car out for a spin and kill some people, are the parents criminally liable there as well? The only real difference is you want to demonize gun ownership.

A UK paper is reporting that one of the shooters' father was an illegal alien who had been deported and who served time for domestic violence. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-McKinney-serial-felon-illegal-immigrant.html

Interestingly, the article reveals that a concerned mother had contacted the School Board because she was concerned about a possible Columbine-style shooting, given claimed high levels of violence, sexual assault, a bomb threat and overall high stress levels at the STEM school. The school responded by hiring a lawyer to look into suing...the concerned mother.

The article also says the shooters broke into a gun cabinet to get the weapon.

But how will I keep my fantasies alive of blasting home invaders in the last second if I can't keep my loaded cocked pistol under my pillow?

I rest my case

“The father of one of the alleged STEM School Highlands Ranch shooters in Colorado is a serial felon and illegal immigrant from Mexico, DailyMail.com can reveal.”

Have to get this news from the UK because the Liberal media in the United States has buried the story.
Doesn’t fit the agenda so it must be silenced.

This whole bit is pretty funny, but start at about 4:15 to see him make your point. Funny stuff.
