Analysis on candles

Candles are randomly formed by time and by themselves pointless.

But better than line because you can see where spikes down/up have happened, which can indicate reversals.
Candles are formed by whatever your software provides time, volume, ticks.

But ignoring time which is just as important as price is ... pointless.

I've always wondered why there should be an edge in time compression ...
my experience tells me there is none..no difference whether you trade 5' or 45' or 50' candlesticks..there just seems to be no edge there..

That's been my argument for +10 years whenever I meet someone that states they're a profitable pure TA or PA trader to imply they're using only TA/PA and nothing else.

They're using something else that they do not discuss (intentional or unintentional) in combo with the TA or PA.

Exactly;
nobody gets into any market without fundamental knowledge/ or look ing it up of a stock symbol/ETF .

I do believe one could ignore volume, on printing charts anyway; but it would not hurt to make volume notes LOL:D:D, :D:D:D:D:D:D
