Quote from OPTIONAL777:
How can I have a reasonable discussion of an argument with someone who does not own the argument?
I should argue or discuss your interpretation of someone else's argument?
I have no opinion on Craig's argument...if you want to make an argument that you own, I'd be happy to discuss that.
I've listened to Hitchens and his arguments many times, I've watched them, and I have found multiple logical fallacies and skewed assumptions in his arguments...as well as his emotionally bitter reaction to theists.
I would love to discuss these things with Hitchens...if he were here.
Quote from Maverick1:
Much of Hitchen's argument is not original at all, and can hardly be called 'his own'. It is a regurgitation of Bertrand Russell in many respects. Yet you seem to have no problem discussing Hitchen's argument.... Interesting.

Moreover, Craig's argument, the Kalaam Cosmological Argument isn't exactly his 'own' either. And yet you refuse to discuss the latter.
Interesting.
Quote from OPTIONAL777:
I'll stick to something that I can reason with that would be true independently of any particular cosmological argument. [/B]
Quote from jem:
There is a difference between my faith. Which I do not expect you to understand or care about and fact and science.
When I present noble prize winners who state there is vidence our universe is designed and you all deny it without and counter to the scientists points... I see you all making emotional clown like reactions.
Not one of you, has tried to explain why the scientists are wrong.
My faith is not even involved in that conversation.
its me present noble prize winners making statements.
Quote from Maverick1:
I'm afraid that this is impossible.
You are part of the cosmos as is everything else we know and that science can shed light on. There is nothing that you can 'reason with' that is independent of the cosmos, and by extension, independent of the kalaam cosmological argument, regardless of whether the latter is valid or not.
Quote from Kassz007:
You present a few quotes, normally from religious websites (which by all means bring into question the context and possibility for a misquote), and pretend like scientists are saying there is a creator? For every scientist you present that says there is a creator, I can find 10 who say the opposite. Your argument is totally mute.
Secondly, why do you cling to Nobel prize winners as being more credible than anyone else? Obama won the Nobel peace prize. That right there goes to show you the credibility of the Nobel assocation.
You likely won't respond to this post, as you seem to avoid the tough questions, but I felt the need to say this anyways.
