So...long story short: I came accross some website of a bank registered in panama which offers bank account opening online and as a nice bonus... 4.5% interest. Does it sound too much...like a pyramid ("ponzi")? Basically, i don't care of the apy that much as i am thinking to open the account for a...legit tax purposes 
and i am not even US based (UK...) so I shouldn't be scared to death of the american government (i guess...). But...what do you guys think?

That bank also wants $5000 minimum to open the account.
