I've never read anything like this, and in a Montana Newspaper! Unfortunately, Berry is politically a "conservative" and there has been at least one recent study, that appears legitimate, that concludes that political leanings of members of the American Meteorological Society are correlated with there position on AGW. So I it seems one has to consider the article with a somewhat jaundiced eye. Nevertheless, I note that Berry is, it is claimed, a Ph.D. atmospheric physicist. (More power to him in this case for bothering to put something like this article in a local newspaper.)

I found the article extremely interesting, so thanks for turning it up. I wish I were qualified to critique it. I'm not!
