An idea for gun control regulations

I've spent some time thinking about this. It's of course not complete. Here goes...

Every sane person should be able to own and shoot any kind of gun that there is. Shooting is fun. As long as it is kept at a licensed secured range.

For now, until guns become more scarce, citizens can keep at home one rifle and one shotgun that do not have a removable clips and have a maximum magazine capacity of three - five. Reloading cannot take less than five - seven seconds.

No handguns at home would be allowed, but one can have any kind they want to shoot, as long as it is kept at the range.

Of course special exemptions for such things as hog hunting could be allowed. However, claims of needing to defend against the govt or zombie hoards of Mexican immigrants will get the respect they deserve. None.

The supreme court has ruled that firearm ownership is a personal right. End of story.

BTW- I am all for banning all guns with "clips". As long as I can keep my firearms with magazines we have no arguement.

Just curious, but how in the name of all that is holy do you intend to seal magazines to the firearm? You say "that do not have removable clips". Ignoring the "clips" wording, how would you reload if the magazine could never be removed? Are you talking about loading each round through the chamber by itself? How would you monitor or police the reloading speed? How would you stop people from taping magazines together for increased reload speed? Ban tape?
