Ok, that horrible thing by that man caused more horrible things to happen?

It probably always does.
Civilized society should have objective sentencing laws that theoritically repay your debt to society based on the harm done to society as a whole, while unfair individually.
If this had happened to my daughter I'm sure I would like to poke his eyes out.
I'm still unsure if I would go the transplant route as punishment.
This is a tragic situation which happens in our country quite often (stalkers) the law offers little protection (restraining orders) I have come to the conclsion if a girl is so unfortunate to be stalked, it is probably best for her to pack up and move unless she can afford security.
