actually i made a post about why btc would not be a currency cause of exactly of what you said It'd be more like gold than anything.
But honestly i don't put too much emphasis on crypto, it's 10% of my portfolio. it's legit enough to invest in. i actually decided to follow a wsb recommendation to just put it in the top 10 cryptos (except the stable coins) and forget about it.
