the guy got a point. the war was not waged in self-defence but based on lies. why has he go fight and risk to lose his life to fulfill the ambition of an oil thirsty administration?

Is this "officer" for real? Orders are orders...this aint civilian life ya dope. Even if your opposed to the war you go because the papers you signed say they own your ass. And I would be willing to bet the Army paid for his college degree also...


I hope he realizes that once he gets thrown in prison and does his time he will have a dishonorable discharge following him around for the rest of his life. He will have the same job opportunities as a convicted pedophile...

Conscription is not how this officer found himself in the Army. Its black and white with the military. You either do or you dont. And either choice has wide ranging implications for him and his future.

Tough place to be..in between morals and duty.

Possible death or branded for life.

when the leaders make illegal decisions it is an extremely difficult position to be in. the neocons are war criminals. to speak out against them and not participate in the genocide is an act of bravery.

Perhaps. But our military became a lot more than domestic defense forces long ago. And this man knew it when he joined.

Once you are in the military you are not entitled to pick and choose conflicts to engage in.
