Then why doesn't your performance reflect that?

As I detail int he last 1/3 of my book, CYGT has really hurt me. Trust me, I wish this situation wasn't so difficult to explain; it would be all well and good for me to be the perfect trader who never makes mistakes, but trading isn't that simple. The point is that I've refined a trading strategy that can yield $10,000-$500,000/year, but no more. It's very strange, but thats life

put on your robe, take out your meth pipe, and try to figure out a way to lose more money timbo

hey where did you go the night of the trader monthly party? the wannabe cafe? lol

do u know that ALL these people mock you?

How will more people trading the same patterns generate a bigger yield?

Suppose the oft cited figure of 1,000 followers proves true and the extractable income pool is on the higher end at 500,000 per year.

Thats 500,000 / 1000 = 500$ per person, per year. Best case.

If this strategy can generate a higher extractable yield with more followers, than why aren't you trading it?

Two. If extractable yield is inelastic, then why are you selling it?

Haha $10k-$500k/per year PER PERSON. And every person is different--some will want to short sell, some will want to momentum buy--I teach guidelines for everything. I've become pretty cynical so I'm better at short selling, and unfortunately there's more upside in buying these stocks. This is why I'm practically giving it all away--I've worked myself into a corner--much better to let others have it and see what they can do. But since everyone is playing different angles, scalability won't come into play for individuals who use this, at least until much later and then, my strategies will have taught people to adapt to changing chart patterns

Please ask me more questions, I really have nothing to hide, just have to explain everything better because it's not as simple as I'd like it to be.

So its scalable up to 10-20 million per year?

Then why can't you, as an individual, take more than 75k-100k per year from the strategy?

Quote from TimothySykes:

Correct, with my lack of risk tolerance, I can't make big time money and I don't feel like slaving away for $75k- $100k/year. This strategy isn't scalable past $10-$20mm/year, but I can teach a whole hell of a lot of people before we run into scalability problems.

I could probly pull in $75-$100k if I really worked on it and nothing else, but whats the point of that? I enjoy teaching more. If I could make $500k/year I'd say screw teaching, gimme that money, but I'm not in a position to do that right now because I don't like leverage, I can't take on much risk (due to my notorious CYGT debacle) and I've somehow become too cynical so as to not be comfortable ever going long on these stocks again. For all these reasons, I'm letting others have it and then we'll see if I'm full of it or if this is the mini-Turtletraders
