Amy Winehouse was just found dead in her apartment, not really a big shocker.

Its very sad that she could not get off the drugs, such a waste of god given talent. :(

Interesting to note that Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Brian Jones also died at age 27.
 
There is a real fear of turning 30 for a rocker.
Its like it is over at that age and the youthful wild person is coming to an end, adult hood is here.
They party heavier and check out. It also helps to keep your name from being forgotten. For some of them the attitude is better to check out young and tragically, then to get old, fat, and hang on to fame you had forty years ago.
