Well I think my children are now much more likely with the same constitutionally protected freedoms I had.

I think if your side won we would be seeing govt doing the same type of garbage as twitter, facebook and google with respect to speech.

Regarding our ability to resist govt... you would already have outlawed everything but shotguns and you would be coming for those next.

It’s going to be massive imposition on the states from issues ranging from pollution to employee safety to property rights. You have no idea what is coming. Scalia’s famously activist 2nd amendment opinions were the biggest crock of shit in constitutional history. We have unlimited dark money in politics due to conservatives and our government now recognizes corporations as people and you’re trying to tell me this is about jurisprudence. Supreme Court will not be involved except to end the lawsuits and counting just like it did in 2000.

If Trump is expecting a SC justice he picked to side with him just because he picked her.....he is going to have another woman destroy him.

There is nothing Amy can do if Trump does not get to 270. SC does not overturn elections. In 2000 it upheld the vote in FL..people forget.

The dummy TreeFrog is dreaming of extreme corruption as the best route for the US. No matter how much this new judge likes Trump, she'd be the laughing stock of the profession if she broke from precedence, the law, and common sense and made a political decision like that. That's assuming a case even gets that far there is no real reason for a case except that Trump hates losing.

The fact that Trump and some posters on here made up the fraud ideas and installed a judge just in case ( at least in their minds ) BEFORE THE ELECTION EVEN STARTED is the stuff you'd expert from third world despots and Putin. Not much of a leap to poisoning the opposition and murdering journalists. Somewhere along the way too many Americans started thinking the ends ( what they define as good ) justify any means. We expect more from Americans; Trump not so much.

Watch the lower court decide in favor of Biden and SC basically refuse to hear the case becaus they don't want to touch it with a ten foot pole.

The electoral system aint perfect but it tends to work over time. Trump won the EC by 300,000 votes. Why is it so hard to believe after all the fuck ups that he lost this time around with way more voters.

Let's hope Trump get's shut down swiftly and people move on if Biden holds his lead. I'm surprised more Americans aren't fed up with how Trump trashes so many American institutions like they are garbage. He's calling people counting votes fraudsters, saying people who mailed in votes shouldn't count on technicalities that are flimsy at best.

I view it more as opening the hood and shining a light on many things that we have assumed to be Kosher for so long. Often times it is quite interesting what one finds.
