AMP Quantower chart not visible when offline

@AMP_Global

As soon as I disconnect, every chart goes blank. Why is this? Doesn't happen with Tradestation, Sierra Chart, MultiChart... basically all charting packages I have ever used. I would like to use Quantower, but this needs to be fixed

Just wondering, why do you need to disconnect in the first place?

1) Because CQG allows one connection per username. I sometime use other software to connect to CQG
2) No need to be connected in the weekend right? Right now, that means no charts to ponder over my fuckups of the last week. Not acceptable

AMP is not going to give a shit about platform issues

It goes blank for the same reason this page will go blank if you pull the plug.
It's HTML5. How can you not know this? AMP is not at fault here. I use XTrader it's the same.

I know all about html[x]. html is all about rendering, not the source of data. I would expect this in a browser based platform, like tradingview, CQG mobile etc. But Quantower is a .NET app that I download and install. Sure, they may be using html to render the charts, but that does not excuse their inability to cache data and show it offline like everyone does

Both Multicharts and Ninja run on .NET framework and you can access their charts offline, so in theory at least you should be able to do the same with Quantower.

@DarthSidious Like Hilmy stated, this ain't AMP's problem. You should contact QT on discord.

I checked with QT support and this is not available nor it is planned. Basically, QT has all the limitations of a browser only platform, but it is a .NET platform that has to be installed. Bizarre.

I am essentially looking for a options platform for CQG feed and I would like to keep using Sierra Chart as primary charting / order entry. I suppose I can use QT's options panel, but then just for that functionality I might just as well use CQG Desktop (aka CQG Mobile) without resorting to third party platforms
