Amnesty... sellouts pushing status again.

Seems core Republicans see the Hispanic vote as "just waiting to be captured" as a Republican voting block if amnesty is granted... and that's why the big push.

Surprisingly (?) DemoCraps see the same for their side.

Ironically... (1) the ONLY votes which matter these days are those of minorities, and (2) the white "makers" of this country are the ones who get to "pay for it all"... all the while effectively having no vote in the matter.

:>(

It's pretty clear that the current version of the republican party, ie a center-right party, will not appeal to newly enfranchised hispanics. So we will then get a big push that we have to pick candidates who are "electable," ie appealing to these hispanics. That means candidates who wil make Romney look like Reagan.

The unanswered question is why would core republican constituencies want to support this? Are we really so desperate to keep John Boehner in congress that we would support higher taxes, pissing more money away on welfare and teachers' unions and gun control? After all, that is what the hispanics will want.

The way I see it is we will have to make a decision sooner or later. Either we abandon our principles in the name of getting RINOs elected, or we draw a line. The establishment republicans warn us that drawing a line will only alienate the vast middle ground of low information voters. Maybe it will, but maybe if we present the issue to them , they will see it our way.

Now when faced with internal whisperings of a vote out - this sellout leader is is saying he was just joking.

we must not forget his masters are insisting he and the leadership destroy the party and its voting base.

He most be voted out before he finds a way... (I am sure they are even eyeing some sort of post election lightly attended day) to do this. He must be stopped.

He says we can't trust Obama and for the same reason our elected officials can't trust him and the leadership.

They have gotten Ryan to destroy his future. They have gotten Kantor to reveal his stripes and lose his. They have their fangs in so deep on Boehner he is already a hallowed out. If he stays the party will lose its base.

Speaker John Boehner dismissed comments he made last week when he made fun of fellow Republicans for moaning about taking votes on immigration reform.
“It wasn’t mocking, listen, you all know me,” Boehner told reporters this morning. “You tease the ones you love.
Boehner added that some Republicans “misunderstood” what he was saying and that he would continue to work with fellow Republicans to find a way forward on immigration reform.
Boehner admitted that his comments might have gone a little too far but didn’t apologize for them.
“Our members know me, but you know sometimes I can rib people just a little too much sometimes,” Boehner said.
