That's a very good price, but it's not available. I can't even find it at CMP. I think the cheapest I've found is .80 round.

I've been thinking about assembling my own AR-15, just so I can get cheaper ammo. But I love shooting the M1.

Check out Panther Arms M4 – it ain’t a Colt but it is accurate and very reliable… say with an ACOG, or AimPoint scope it is very accurate
