Amibroker help

I've been trying to get an answer on the Amibroker group but no luck...
I'm currently evaluating the product and one of my biggest issues is the use of layers.
After installing it I've created two linked windows, one for Daily and another one for Weekly.
I'd like to have my Daily drawings showing only on the Daily chart and the same for the Weekly drawings.
After reading the online help, I was told to lock the layers so that it would respect the drawings and intervals... but is not working..

the only way I can get it to respect the drawings and the interval is by selecting the layer prior to drawing... it's very ackward and not really easy to use... as I have to keep switching every time I want to draw something...

Is this how it suppose to be? What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

You should just switch to "LAYERS" tab in workspace window,
click on "DAILY" layer then draw things that you want to appear
only on DAILY interval, then select "WEEKLY" layer and draw then only things that you would like to appear only on weekly interval.

You can also move drawing from one layer to another by clicking on it twice - Properties window will appear and you can switch the layer from the combo.
