AMEX versus NASDAQ - manipulation

I'm following a few stocks on AMEX, and everyone complains about the unfair pricing and market manipulation stocks on the Amex experience...and the goal is to move to Nasdaq because its more honest.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind this sentiment?

This so called, "manipulation," happens in every exchange.

I think it's just people who lose money in the market that need to blame their loss on someone, something....

could you please provide more information about those complains?
 
complaints are more directed to the specialists that handle those amex stocks, more than manipulatin' anythin' they rather outright steal.
 
The 10/2 issue of Forbes has a cover story on the CEO of the AMEX, Neal Wolkoff. The title of the article says it all, "Mr. Clean - How He'll Sanitize One Sleazy Exchange."
