Except that a lot of the right leaning folks here have little or no problem with Carlson.You have to realize this not the "left". These are extreme viewpoints no different than a Tucker Carlson viewpoint. The majority of people are often more center leaning from their left or right views so we should be careful that we stop over labelling what the left or right stands for.
And Carlson is a member of the right and speaks for a large part of the right, just as this professor speaks for a large part of the left. We cannot continue to pretend that these extremists aren't growing in number on both sides, and those closer to the middle are ever more likely to excuse, minimize, or completely ignore these extreme elements of their respective parties.You have to realize this not the "left". We see brand name republicans call out Trump and other extremists on the right from time to time. We're seeing that right now with regard to Syria. What I don't see is household name democrats calling out the lunacy of the radical left.
