Canada's gain if he's left the country. Reminds me how Achilles29 used to claim to be Canadian but knew very little about Canada. I still suspect he was either a Russian troll or a fugitive from the law in the US.
On topic, the US has become a circus of political mayhem in which very little positive ever gets done unless it's an absolute emergency. How can any rational American be happy about any of this ? I suppose some are too busy making money to care, but anyone falling through the cracks in the economy is going to experience some hard times next few years.
Eh, "never debate with idiots, you'll lose every time and they'll bring you down to their level" would be my position. Plus she's not up for re-election yet so has nothing to gain by quieting idiots.
This is actually a very valid observation. The problem is, the two sides have vast and ever widening gulfs between their positions. Not just on one or two issues, either. On every issue. It's almost comical. Compromise can never solve the dispute. Instead, compromise just raises the floor for further concessions. Each side understands this, so politics is reduced to arm waving and name calling. It's like a defensive battle, with each side satisfied to prevent the opponent from scoring and having little hope of scoring themselves.
Thankfully we have Trump to entertain us.
Actually, there is a very huge block in both the Senate and House that is homogenous. It does not seem that way because of some policy differences but, not by much! Truth be told, we have these huge block of Globalists which are made up of RINO liberals (pro-free trade, pro-business) and the Democrat liberals (pro-business, pro-free trade, pro-illegal immigration). Democrats want the illegal vote which is the only thing between them! RINOs facilitate sabotaging any form of immigration enforcement as proven by the rush to pass a bill on H-1B visas intended for Indian nationals. That was 100,000 jobs for Indian nationals instead, of Americans! It was in the news and supported by huge numbers of Republicans and Democrats. This is the Globalist Wing of both parties. Now, we have a handful of conservatives like Ted Cruz, Mark Meadows, Kris Kobach but, not much else on the Republican side and a group of extreme liberal radical Socialists, Communists and Islamists in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar. Conservatives and Extreme Radical Democrats have little power although, liberal media makes the Democrat radicals think they are so powerful!
