Focusing on where we agree on ...... amongst the people that I know the vast majority are divorced and broken, but I do know 4 families that are exemplary in that the American wife supports her husband implicitly - yeah, HE comes first and what you earlier criticized, she serves HIM and does so happily. The result is a relief to behold - a towering MAN, full of vigor and power. The physical Universe has no defense against such a MAN. But as I said, his brethren are getting slaughtered.

'Honey we gotta talk' -- I learned from a cartoon strip, the best response to this is:
'You say 'we', but since I know for a fact that I do not need to talk, I can thus only logically conclude you are talking as if you were the Queen of England, or you have worms !!!'
It is very effective, I suppose because it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, so she gets confused , or can only logically conclude I've gone insane !!

Look, all I know is that 7 years ago I met the woman of my dreams, an American woman, and I quickly made her my wife. :) For me, she is the most beautiful, smartest, and amazing woman a man could want. She is my best friend, my companion through the good times and bad, and she has proven herself to be a woman of real character. Although other countries may have plenty of solid, marriage-quality women, all I can share is that I FOUND MINE RIGHT HERE, in the good ol' USA, and I couldn't imagine my life with anyone else. So although we can disagree about where the best women are located geographically, I think we can all agree that when you find the right woman for you, life doesn't get any better.

An American MAN in his mid forties bought a new BMW and was out on the interstate for a nice evening drive. The top was down, the breeze was blowing through what was left of his hair and he decided to see what the engine had. As the needle jumped up to 80 mph, he suddenly saw flashing red and blue lights behind him.

“There’s no way they can catch a BMW,” he thought to himself and opened her up further. The needle hit 90, then 100, and finally reality hit him and he knew he shouldn’t run from the police, so he slowed down and pulled over.

The cop came up to him, took his license without a word and examined it and the car. “It’s been a long day, this is the end of my shift and it’s Friday the 13th. I don’t feel like more paperwork, so if you can give me an excuse for your driving that I haven’t heard before, you can go.”

The guy thinks for a second and says, “Last week my wife ran off with a cop. I was afraid you were trying to give her back.” “Have a nice weekend,” said the officer and he walked away.

Why the f--k didn't you say that before? I'm thrilled to hear that, Baron and I'm happy for you. You'll get NO disagreement from me - the geographical location don't mean doodly when you got the right one. But you, Sir are in a rapidly diminishing minority = thread title in spades.
