acosta was not reporting he was acting like a protestor. Protestors get removed by all sides when they disrupt the meeting.
I despise the fact you dnc trolls make such stupid arguments I have to defend Trump.
Obama scolded the reporter because of the phrasing, not for the question - he says the very same thing if you actually listen to the exchange.
And he still answered them, he held press conferences, he didn't call Fox News fake news even though they consistently lied about him especially Hannity.
But why are you equating that with EVICTING a reporter?
Did Obama evict Garrett for asking that question?
No, he called out the phrasing and ANSWERED his question.
Deflection and whataboutism on your part.
Yeah -- let's talk about all the reporters that the Obama adminstration evicted from the White House press pool.
did you say you want more people to come in from Norway
Trump answered the question... I want them to come in from everywhere
Acosta then says just caucasian or white countries
That was a complete non sequitor follow up to Trumps answer.
He was acting like a protester calling him a racist.
He didn't ask WHERE do you want them to come from NOW, he asked DID YOU SAY PREVIOUSLY that you want more people coming from Norway - which he did because even though WH is playing games with the shithole word, they never denied the Norway part.
Let's even say Acosta was provocative but aren't people like Ann Coulter and that gay Breitbart dude provocative too? If their free speech is being stifled by protesters who evict/block them from talking, why is Trump's case an exception?
I was writing from memory after seeing a clip.
I believe your correction is accurate, yet it makes no difference.
Time, place, job are considered by the Supreme Court when testing constitutional rights.
This is about proper decorum when reporting and whether the President has a right to respond with an ejection. I don't see first amendment or any constitution rights being infringed in this scenario... its not even close.
Coulter is a opinion giver mostly on opinion shows.
As would be most of the guests analysts on Fox, CNN and MSBC etc.
They can be told to shut up by their employers almost at will without the constitution being implicated.
Milo is and extreme example of an opinion giver.
The rules change when you go out to give speeches in public forums. At some point most speech must be tolerated in public forums. However the courts have allowed right to be controlled as long as the content is not be targeted. For instance one might not be allowed to use a bullhorn after dark if there are neighbors... etc. (and there are always exceptions such a public safety.)
LOL!!!, yeah its "Nazi extremism" taking over college campuses.![]()
