So the south and their diversity divides the north, so why doesn't the south...the minority, just unite with the north?

Why do the republicans divide the country when they say no to everything the democrats suggest?

I can't even talk about hockey, being surrounded by canucks and all. Like this morning, big hootin' about some team that won last night (it's the French canucks hootin'). One of my engineers asks me, "did you see the game last night?" I said, "hockey... that's that thing with the guys and they have sticks? Yeah, I gotta rent that sometime." But most of the time I just tell 'em, hey, I'm American, I can't even see the puck unless they draw a circle around it; they like that. ; )

What an American flag has to do with Cinco de Mayo to be offensive to Mexicans?

Is it offensive on Cinco de Mayo only or on Mexican Independence Day as well?
Other Mexican holidays?

There are about 200 countries in the world US probably has at least one immigrant from each and each of them celebrates at least a few Hollidays.

If you are a Naturalized US citizen or an immigrant that is offended by an American flag pack your bags and take you shit where you will not be offended.

I do not see diversity vs melting pot as being we are better than you issue.

I see it as a unity concept.

There is no D I V E R I S I T or Y team.

Diversity is a concept being promoted to destroy national unity.

The U.S. is lot healthier together than divided by horrendous - self centered concepts - such as diversity. What the hell is diversity even a laudable goal relative to say the melting pot idea. Why favor the immigrants culture.... who is making that choice for us in the states... What good does it do anybody in the long run?

For the good of the country, given the republicans are only about what is good for the country, they should drop the differences and join the democratic party so we have a single united political party and therefore a stronger United States...

Note that since diversity has been promoted.... the country has seen a decline in its relative wealth and its relative respect. I believe there is a connetion... but that is a side issue.

Since diversity has been promoted... politics has become even more divisive.

The last non free loader loving democrat president said... ask not what your country can do for you... ask what you can do for your country.

When democrats --- and corporations stop looking for handouts... we can can have a unified country.
