Canada is quite competitive in the world. It does not need the US economically. Canadian passports are welcomed everywhere.The US is an economic basketcase.Its banking system is ijn shambles.(http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=102617) Its role as a reserve currency are fading. perhaps one of the few powers it has left is this time to bring the world into a depression. Its education system fails to produce students who can compete on an international level, The US is hated around the world. Its armed forces are incapable of fighting on more than front. It is incapable of handling national disasters as proven by the katrina storm.
