America... More Racial Animus Now Than In Last 50 Years...

Why do you think that is?

Obama and Holder? DemoCraps promoting racial hatred and division to secure votes? Any other candidates?

Even the Starbucks CEO suggests your morning cup of joe should come with a discussion about race!

WTF? Are you serious? SCREW THAT!!

If I were a Starbucks regular, I'd be looking for somewhere else to buy my coffee.

The interesting thing about all this is that the libtards have sown the seeds of their destruction on this race thing. While this country is moving to the left and I doubt that will change soon, the libtards thinking on race is !@&^ed up even worse than their usual stuff. They thought if only they could get enough white people around black people that the white people would see that black people are just like them. So they pushed integration. More and more white people are learning that more black people bring more crime, worse schools, higher taxes, more riots, sinking property values, lower government services because of lower tax revenue (despite higher taxes) and a general lower standard of living. Instead of bringing about universal love and peace (not to mention unicorns and rainbows), the libtards are bringing a healthy understanding of reality to the white race.

Oops.

I would add that government services also drop due to increased demand and that local businesses generally get worse since their costs rise.

I may be dead wrong, but I think the vast majority of people do not go around obsessing about race, black or white.

You have a relatively small but loud group in politics, media , the universities and the racial grievance industry who do keep pushing the narrative of vast injustice. They are led by obama, who is one of the most demagogic and divisive pols since the days of the oldline segregationists. He has filled the government with like-minded people, not just Holder, but virtually every cabinet secretary. The media hide their radical views since they approve.

Of course, it has an effect. Now every black who has an interaction with a policeman feels entitled to cause trouble and scream racism. Then you have total morons like the CEO of Starbux who seemingly wants to insult his customers by having a bunch of college dropout barristas lecture them on their inherent racism. I know I'll never set foot in another Starbux.

Can you imagine? A young school-dropout hands you your latte, then strikes up a conversation about racial "whatever". The long line at Starbucks being slowed down so that some barista can have a racial discussion with you?

Holy CRAP... that's a bad idea. That's right up there with the 2 worst decisions America has ever made... #1, electing Odumbo as POTUS, and #2, reelecting him.

Would be fitting if Starbucks business would drop WAAAYYYY OFF because of this.

Every now and them someone sends me a Starbucks gift card. I will use that up, as it's already paid for. But other than that... I swear I will NEVER be a Starbucks customer!! FUCK SCHULTZ and this Liberal pontification and presumed social superiority!!

CH wrote a great piece about this, including this gem:

The ulterior motivation is the fear that Starcucks and other big companies with deep pockets and SJW fanbases will be a target of the next Anti-Racism Inquisition coming to their boardrooms, and demanding witches to burn and Danegeld to pay. This shit is starting to get expensive. And companies are starting to figure out that loading up their “partnerships” with diversity dross is bad business and bad for the bottom line. Maybe, they think, the best thing to do is throw a preemptive bone to the rabble to distract them while the company continues hiring competent nonvibrants unobstructed.

I think you're right. However.. Odumbo, Holder, Sharpton, Jesse Jack-off and others keep throwing it up into our collective faces.... wouldn't do for racial animus to be shoved to the back burner of our minds, you know. (If we're not thinking about race "all that much", might not have the desired political effect.)

Anyone with half-a-brain should see government stirring up racial animus is mostly a political tactic to secure votes.

Good grief... how far America has fallen.

This starbucks campaign has to be the dumbest idea in the history of ideas, if you actually think that its a good idea to let a barista making 15 bucks on hour start going off on rants about race then i am almost thinking that their company is worth shorting just based on that. The most skilled politicians in America, the people who focus group test every thing they say, cant avoid stepping in shit when it comes to this sort of thing and they think that some teenager slinging coffee is the appropriate person to start navigating these rough waters? Its like sending in some person who just learned to paddle a canoe to compete as a captain in the america's cup.

This is the worst idea ive ever seen a company come up with. But I have to admit I am going to enjoy the coming outrage when some barista shockingly says something that is racially insensitive.
