The solution to this BS is hire only black cops to police black areas. You do not have to be a genius to figure that one out. Remove the racist card and all of it goes away. .

I actually told someone that the other day. It's the right solution.

I think the hiring process as it stands right now however, at least in the major metropolitan area's, is kind of unforgiving of past indiscretions. And that's bs really. I know a girl who's son tried to get on a couple years back and he had some minor drug charge on his record, (not sure if it was a felony or not, but I think it might have been, I'll ask) and it was an instant disqualifier. Good kid too; would have made a good cop.

The way I see it... this whole requirement to have this perfect "lilly white" background is stupid. That's the whole friggin problem. Save that stuff for the Secret Service or the FBI... but man put some street smart cops on the streets.

A kid that hustled crack when he was 15, given the training and the opportunity to have a great paying job with good benefits would make a hell of a cop. Would some be corrupt? Yeah, probably, ... but christ almighty... there have been corrupt cops since the beginning of time.

They need to start recruiting cats that know what its like to live and breath in a world that no white dude will ever understand. Make no mistake, it is a different world.

We have universities full of shrinks that have made it their life work to study the human mind and human behavior. Reach out to them and have them collaborate and develop tests that could be administered to young African American recruits that no one in a million years would think could ever become a cop. I want a cop that knows what its like to have no father. A cop that grew up where the only stores were liquor stores. A cop that came home to an empty house and an empty refrigerator. A cop that knows what its like to be forced to sell drugs on the corner just to fit in and not get beat up. This is what we need. And by doing this, we will lift all those kids because they'll see there is hope.

It can be done. There's a solution for everything. The f'ing establishment just needs to learn to think outside the box. And good luck with that.

Someone else tried this false equivalency several times already. The founding fathers believed in law and order, not reckless chaos. They wouldn't have started killing police officers because of a few bad apples.

The vast majority of police officers do their job every day to keep people safer. Are there bad actors? Of course there are. There are bad teachers, bad engineers, bad politicians (more here than other professions), bad soldiers, bad waitresses, bad pilots, etc. People come in three flavors - Good, Bad and Boring.

Until you put robots or androids or something like that into police roles, the individual will determine whether they are good, bad or boring.

So your proposal is to start indiscriminately killing police officers because of the bad actors, is it? Just kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out.

So, you are advocating to kill someone just because they have a police uniform? That is as fascist as anyone can get. Kill people without even being guilty of anything? Maybe, move to Socialist France? Emmanuel Macron would love you. Better still, watch how the french police has been brutalizing the french Yellow Jackets and Unions. In any organization, there are rotten bad apples. And while, we are at it, start with your corrupt and inept, extreme liberal Democrats who have done squat but, enriched themselves.
