If Trump can be the son of Otto von Bismarck then Elizabeth Warren can be Pocahontas.
Speaking of genealogical bullshit, the other day Trump was speaking to a crowd at Elmendorff Air Force base in Anchorage, on his way back I guess from North Korea or something. So he starts bloviating about his connection to Alaska and his grandfather, and how he/Trump won big in Alaska in 2016, and that probably that was because some of the people there were even thinking about his grandfathers connection to Alaska and that got him some votes. Saying that his grandfather was in AK looking for gold.
Okay fine so far, or not. Problem is I read up on the grandfather once in some articles and I dont have a recollection of his being in Alaska so my bullshit-o-meter went off a little but I did not hear the press jumping on him about it later so just shrugged. Sure- he was in British Columbia and the Yukon, which, I suppose is like Alaska if you live in Simi Valley or Tampa, except it isnt.
If one of you guys who likes to be right about all sorts of minor things knows the answer just spout it out and I will stand informed. Otherwise. I am calling bullshit. Yet, I have to believe that the press that likes to jump on him for all sorts of insignificant stuff would have done so. What part of Alaska was he living in and mining for gold in. Yes, the road goes from Whitehorse to Alaska but it also goes to Key West, Florida if you want. That dog don't hunt.
Keep in mind that Trump said that probably he got some votes in AK because people remembered that his grandfather had lived there. Sounds to me like something Pocahontis's Paw Paw might have told him.
