Fauxco is a joke for a presidential candidate but she is going to be around Washington for a while. Last election we had two candidates- Trump and Hillary- that wanted to either be in the White House or to go home if they lost. Neither was interested in the VP position or a cabinet position without even getting to whether they were qualified.
Fauxco is just the basic type of candidate that we mostly have had throughout history. They talk big and will fight in the primary but not go so low that they will not be on the short list for VP or a cabinet position. If, for example the dems go with Corey Booker and they need a white (native?) woman on the ticket, she would take it in a flash. Also, possible- scoff as you may- is the possibility that the dems will go with an all female ticket because their base would love it- whatever- it's possible. She would take the vp on that type of ticket too.
And she has always fancied herself as some type of economics or financial wizard too, so would take Secretary of Treasury, Labor, Commerce, whatever, you fill in the blank, and no laughing allowed while you do it.
But she is in the game for the long run because she is just your basic drab, utility grade candidate willing to go the distance for some kind of plum. Hubby is probably retired or is retiring. So she becomes ambassador to some Club Med country and they go there. Just your basic political hack. She will run. We will have our fun and so will Trump and her dem opponents. She will be humiliated and still end out with some hack position. Very dreary and drab, but what are you gonna do. At least she is not totally stupid as Kamala Harris is. But Kamala is semi-black and to the dems that gets you more points than being knowledgeable in some field.
All of them will position themselves and all their arguments as the one who can beat Trump the Visigoth. That's fine. Problem is that while that is going on Marco Rubio will be challenging Trump in the Republican primary. Our various views about his qualifications or competitiveness are acknowledged but are probably not the determining factor. Just sayin, they think they know who their opponent is and that Biden - for example- can run and not worry about the age factor because Trump is old too but the playing field can change instantly some day. And yes, I know there are people here both conservative and lib that want to punch me in the mouth for even mentioning Rubio's name but again, I am not sure that will stop him.
