While the facist element of corporate America extorts the political process, facilitated by republicans, the American worker is being held hostage. No tax break for the billionare boyz club, no food for the working poor. It's as simple as that!
Now here's how this scam is going to play out. Hiring is intentionally being held back. I have seen this all year in every industry my service company provides work for. Those that are lucky enough to still be working are working 60-70 hours per week. They will not hire to offset this O.T. Money for capital projects is being held up. This has been the name of the game for all of 2010. They could have, and should have been hiring all year long, but they haven't. Why not? You don't need much imagination to figure it out.
The power brokers and modern day flesh peddlers have perpetrated the tax break will create jobs lie. When their little extortion game plays out, they'll get their tax break. Come Feb./March, like magic, hiring will begin. They'll all be jumping around saying, see, see, tax breaks did create jobs, when in reality they just held off hiring until they got their way.
Democrats, stupidly, will give this extension for two years. Gee, I wonder how that will play out for the republicans. Come election time, I'll bet every dollar I have that we'll be hearing, we must extend the tax breaks. If we don't all the jobs they created will vanish again. It makes me want to puke.
And one final thing. I'm sick of this phoney patriotism displayed by the corporate tyrants and their republican cronies. They obviously hate the average American, and won't be happy until they lay waste to this country, coast to coast, border to border. Then they'll just move on to destroy someplace else, just like the locust that they are. Just take your little lapel flag and stick it up your collective facist ass. I ain't buying your bullshit!
