Drumpf voters, in addition to their fear of mortality (which is the main thing), have been failed by the "pie in the sky" trickle-down theory, and that's not a democrat "program".
On the supply-side nostrum that top-end tax cuts would trickle down to produce unparalleled growth, Galbraith the farm boy was colorfully clear: "After feeding oats to the horses, one should not gaze too closely at what trickles down to the sparrows."

the alternative to trickle down economics is to get a government job, since by the time the democrats get done with private enterprise they will be the only ones who can make a payroll, and that payroll gets divided up every week by more and more workers with less pie.
Choose your poison. Do you want one government running everything, or a bunch of TeaBaggers that nobody can quite keep track of who always seem to be outrunning the government at every crossing even though they seem to have no organization.
