That's what makes a two-sided market with good liquidity - and plenty of naive money to cross the spread and provide good fills. Sounds like good times to me.
It eventually has to. The movie theater business model doesn't work in this century. Everyone can stream movies at home or on their phone. Why take the family out and spend $100 on tickets and stale popcorn when you can rent the movie at home?
I've been to the movies a few times in the last few years and the theaters always had less than 10 people in it.
Maybe because of COVID? Movies in a theater are fun man. Not everyone has a 40-foot screen in their house with super surround sound.
