Amazon.com Inc. was the latest company to discuss its belt-tightening efforts this week. During its quarterly earnings call Thursday, the e-commerce giant said it’s been adding jobs at the slowest rate since 2019. Thats quite old news, there is video of the zoom call, the CEO was pretty awkward, "the last time i did this, i cried", which i find hard to believe because he comes over as a typical corporate sociopath.
