How could this even be profitable for Amazon to do? You would think the cost of repair and buying the drones alone would be way too much unless they charge a fortune for shipping. But hey if it works maybe I can get a drone 747 to deliver some packages from the States to here in India?

Theft concerns will probably prevent this from ever happening. Just throw a rock at the thing and steal the package. Unless, of course, every one of them is equipped with a little gun in which case no-one will be messing with it. That’s probably not gonna fly though, no pun intended.
