the specialist still do play games.... more so after the first hour of the day. when there is volume the auto bidding and bots kick in. the oil inventory number kicked ass........ specialist were so slowwwwwwwwwwwww.

The NYSE is just more inefficient and easier to read, but I think the Naz offers a lot more opportunities to make bigger money (NYSE news stories aside). There are just more speculative issues on the Naz which makes for more movement.

You #'s are way off. Assent is no where near 90% NYSE...not even close.

I think it's 60/40 if not 50/50.

Naz traders flocked to NYSE when bullets became big and NYOB became open to the public. Also a lot of new guys started out with NYSE then and lasted a few years since it was so easy. There was no such trick on Nasdaq. Any moron could hit down market shorts and make big bucks.

If anything, NYSE traders have been quitting slowly ever since bullets were gone. NYSE is a dying exchange. It chops just as much as Nasdaq, you just get the extra priveliege of the specialist scum trying to screw you on every order. Get that lube ready.

EVERY ASSNET TRADER I'VE TALKED TO IS NYSE. THE MANaGER IN MIAMI OR THE MANY GUYS IN NYSE ALL TRADE NYSE. ECHO ETG AND CARLIN ARE 100% NYSE. SAME WITH BRIGHT. only shop i see trading naz is genesis
