amateurs have no chance

today was not a bad day, had some losses early on but later in the day recovered and made good for the rest of the day. today win-loss ratio dropped to 61% win. but average trade profit increased by quite a bit. few mistakes i made, being over confident and averaging down were big mistakes along with not sticking to my stop loss. hopefully will learn my lesson. so far for past 2 weeks did not have a red day.

61% pretty nice. What's your avg win vs avg loss ratio? Suppose around 1.5 - 2 : 1
 
Sorry it should have been win %, the avg profit trade is still lower than avg loss trade. That is what i m trying to improve on.

The difference between amateurs and pros is the pros stick to their rules! Amateurs could have rules but, never stick to them! Results in the pros taking the amateurs monies. No surprise there!
 
looks like a range now, so far its been a blessed day. i think i will call it a day. only traded 45 mins today.

allrite now i will call it a day for sure, the trading bug did not let me go so i stuck around, Today was a very good day, not just in terms of money but emotional aspect.
1. felt very relaxed.
2. No stress trading as everything was managed properly.
3. stuck to my trading style the longest today compared to other days( did average down 2-3 trades but was minimal so my entry was not the best for those trades : bad trait that needs to be improved, have to stick to stoploss. win or lose.
4. did not eat breakfast. Bad bad bad.

today was a repeat of yesterday but with very narrow range. Only good for short plays for me. As usual over traded and lot of cancelled order as market was not trending to my liking.
Today was not stressful and getting some satisfaction as i getting to point where i am able to manage my trade better and stick to my stop loss and exit off trades that go against my calculation.
