AMAT Split

I trade AMAT and have some open positions. It is splitting 2 for 1 tonight after the bell. If I want to cover in after-hours, how many shares should I trade? Will the quotes adjust (reduce by 50%) at the same instant the split occurs? Do you think IB's TWS will get it right? Thanks for any help.
 
Amat will continue to trade at it's current price (54)...the split will take place after post market trading is over. ...tomorrow morning, the stock will reopen at it's post split level (27).
