Since it's pretty easy for a thread to drift off-topic, posts are occasionally moved to a different thread or forum by one of the moderators to maintain overall discussion quality.

I was actually trying to avoiding starting a new bashing thread about IB by cutting into the thread but keeping the subjects in order makes sense. Took me by surprise was all.

Baron, is it possible for people whose posts are moved to a new thread to receive an email notification notifying them of the move? Otherwise they think we deleted the posts.

Yes, definitely think that we should recieve at least a note in our website inbox if not an email.

how does one become a moderator? is it based on number of posts or can a dedicated and disciplined lurker become a moderator one day?
